1939 Hillman Minx
1939 Hillman Minx 1200 cc Four Door Saloon With Sliding Steel Sunroof , Beautiful Pre War Saloon FULLY restored around 25 years ago and has been in long term ownership but little used in recent years , It retains it original green log book confirming the registration to be FLH656 , Spending most of its years in the Surrey and Sussex counties , An original MOT dating from 1976 at 60,806 miles is supplied from "Toat Hill Garage" Slinfold , Nr Horsham ,The current odometer reading is noted to be 62,214. Beautifully refinished in its original Burgundy coachwork and re trimmed in dark red leather , The West of England head cloth has also been renewed . Under the bonnet is extremely well presented as is the underside of this Hillman . A very good looking Pre War Saloon and first registered the 25th of March 1939 , I doubt the new owner would have got much use out of the Hillman Minx there after until the end of the war in 1945 , That is if he could get fuel ? This is lovely and starts and runs extremely well , Rare car indeed ,
