1953 BSA Gold Flash with Meteor Sidecar
1953 BSA Gold Flash 650 cc Twin , With Plunger Frame , Mated to a Charnwood "Meteor" Side Car , Superb combination , Very well set up , Correct front tyre on the BSA for an attached side car , Handles really well , Fully restored "Gold Flash" with new clutch recently fitted . The paintwork is beautiful and the colour is a welcome change to black giving the Motorcycle a "lighter" look. Excellent side car , being very critical there are a few minor chips which in no way detract from the otherwise excellent body , Brooklands aero screen and tonnaue cover complete the look , The "Meteor" side car was born out of the use of "Meteor" Aircraft drop tanks being used as side cars , They became so popular the model was continued with a production made mould being used in latter years to produce these stunning looking side cars . The Goldflash is an easy starter and runs very well pulling easily with the chair at 50 MPH . What a stunning looking combination indeed .
