1958 BSA Gold Star 500 cc DBD34 Scrambler (NOT A CATALINA , NO C at the end of the frame number and a 58 not a 59) , Factory WORK RECORDS Dispatched to USA Main BSA dealer Hapalzina on 30/12/1958 with the original engine and frame numbers which are , Frame number CB32 124 , Engine number DBD34.GS.S.3773. Rare lightweight Frame the differences being :- No headstock bracing. No side or centre stands or mountings, No rear set footrest frame loops, No welded on oil tank mounting, Frame is identical to look at as standard Gold Star frame (apart from the items mentioned) but I estimate it is half the thickness probably Renolds tubing ? . No timing side breather or rev counter take of . The Breather is on the top of the rocker box . Correct "SC" gear box . Alloy fuel tank . Fully restored by specialist engineer , Primary belt drive conversion , Invoices well in excess of £24,000 not including the cost of the bike supplied along with "Gold Print " of the BSA Gold Star motor , Copy of workshop manual and associated paper work .
