1962 Jaguar MK11 3.8 Manual With Overdrive

Engine number LC3585-8 Confirmed by the original Buff log book and Jaguar Heritage certificate supplied , Both are correct and remain together today . The MK11 is finished in its original factory colour combination of Silver blue with French grey interior . Supplied new to the purchaser by "Browns Bath LTD" new to its new Wiltshire owner and registered 989AMR . The V5C records just 4 former keepers . Subject of a complete restoration which began in 2003 . It appears from records supplied the 3.8 MK11 was back on the road in 2006 , Invoicing and photographs support the restoration undertaken , As recently as June 2022 this MK11 Jaguar was professionally recommissioned with a new clutch being fitted , Gearbox rebuild , New brake servo , New fuel lines , New stainless steel heater pipes , New heater valve , New inlet and exhaust manifolds , New Anti roll bar bushes , New brake discs and pads , New flexi brake hoses , New brake master cylinder , Rear handbrake rebuild and Electronic ignition fitted etc , (Supporting Invoice Supplied) to the sum of £7590.00 . The front seats were also professionally rebuilt and trimmed with the correct French Blue hide . I feel the colour to be the best for a MK11 and the chrome wire wheels really enhance its appearance , Presented in excellent condition with a very well detailed engine bay , The underside is still today in lovely condition , The paintwork know some 18 years old presents very well . The 3.8 motor starts easily with no signs of smoke . Driving this MK11 is excellent with good oil pressure noted and no signs of overheating . The overdrive is instantly engaged and disengaged , Braking is efficient and the gear change operation precise . A good MK11 never disappoints and its a rewarding drive experience . Its difficult to think you are driving a 60 year old saloon car . Supplied with current V5C , HPi certificate (Clear) , Supporting history as noted above ,
