1967 " Cheetah" by Bob Gollner
1967 "Cheetah" By Bob Gollner Fitted with the Greeves 37A 250 cc two stroke motor and wearing the Robin Humphries barrel of which I am told only nine machines were fitted with , Beautifully constructed from "Reynolds"531 chrome-molybdenum tubing by Whitlock , Later of "Beamish" and "Majesty" fame , Estamates say 98 machines were built from 67 to 69 and the bikes gained some great results with "Paul Dunkley" and "Arthur Dovey" as pilots , 1967 SSDT "Paul Dunkley" finishing Runner Up in the Best Newcomer Class . Sadly the Spanish invasion halted the British effort . Our example is remarkable being extremly original and only light cosmetic work was required by the last owner other than a very extensive mechanical look at little has been touched . The frame condition is exceptional . A couple of kicks sees the Greeves motor into life and the motor sound very heathy , Clutch clears and gears select correctly . It is a beauty and I doubt the opportunity to acquire such a machine as nice as this will arise soon , Resisting keeping it
