1969 OSSA 250 cc Monocoque Grand Prix . Built as a replica to that ridden By The Late Great Santiago Herrero , Rotary Disc Valve , Very , Very Special
An outstanding recreation in homage to Santiago Herrero the outstanding Spanish GP rider of the 1960,s , OSSA were striving for success in the Two Stroke GPs dominated by Yamaha and with Satiago aboard their revolutionary machine they were certainly getting results , Sadly Herrero was killed in the 1969 IOM TT on board such a machine and OSSA duly pulled out of Road Racing after Herrero,s death . I believe the original bike is in the motorcycle museum in Spain . We have the monocoque alloy frame , Disc value induction , Twin leading shoe front brake , Alloy fairing etc , It looks outstanding , The bike runs and can be displayed . It has not been ridden .
