1970 Ford Cortina MK2 1600 Deluxe 4 Door Saloon
1970 Ford Cortina MK2 1600 Deluxe 4 Door Saloon ( Export Model ) , Original RHD exported to Cyprus on the 8th of May 1970 , The Cortina MK2 export model had a strengthened body shell , Duel circuit brakes , Opening quarter light windows , Bench seat , Padded steering wheel like a Capri , Column gearchange and optional wooden facia as this example has . Of course being in Cyprus the dreaded salt has NOT effected the underside etc and its in remarkable and rust free condition , No boot corrosion , No Inner wing and suspension support panel corrosion or floor pan corrosion . The Ford Cortina arrived back in the UK December 2015 . To date it has been very well maintained and has been taken to shows through out the spring and summer periods and enjoyed .
