1982 Registered Honda Seeley TL200E Trials Bike Frame number SHT0001026 , Rare Trials machines being one of just 300 built . Colin Seeley's connections with Honda UK as well know and as such resulted in the very popular Seeley-Honda trials bike first built in 1979. The project was instigated by Ryuichiro Yoshimi, technical co-ordinator at Honda UK. Launched at the 1979 Earls Court Motorcycle Show an initial order for 100 machines was placed with Seeley International. Colin took over distribution from Honda UK and built a further 200 examples which proved popular but costly for Seeley ending production in 1982 . Our example has had one owner from new up to September 2020 and was road registered by its first owner on the 1/10/1982 in Richmond , York . Over the past 2 years the Seeley Honda has undergone a restoration to the beautiful condition it is presented in today . Having been stripped down , The frame has been refinished as well as the unique tank unit , It has New alloy rims with Stainless steel spokes , New tyres front and rear , New forks seals , Control cables and bearings have been renewed . The motor starts very well and it feels great to ride , Ideal for the collector or for use in Twin Sock trials events or even for a run round on the lanes , light and easy bike to use
