Austin 7 Special.  Exceptional condition and build , The detail is superb  and must not be confused with an average chopped Austin 7 .
Please read the resume of the restoration and specification of this 7 special in the restorers own words below

Unlike the average Austin 7 special this is a fully engineered car originally built in 2014 by Mike Slinn an Austin 7 collector and special builder since the 1960’s. It has been developed professionally since then into a fast and enjoyable road car which will not disgrace when entered in the occasional sprint and race.
The chassis and mechanicals from a 1937 Ruby are pretty well intact although the troublesome 3 bearing crankshaft engine has been replaced with an earlier 2 bearing which is more robust when tuned.
The modifications radically transform the vague steering and slow acceleration of the 1937 saloon into a crisp and sharp handling sports car which easily keeps up with modern traffic and above all else provides the unique driving experience of a vintage thoroughbred. The chassis is lowered over 6 inches by mounting the Bowden twin leaf independent front suspension over (rather than under) the standard nosepiece and the Austin 7 quarter elliptic springs are flattened and mounted on lowering links welded to the rear axle tube. Now less than 5 inches from the ground it has been driven at speed for over 3,000 miles with no sign of grounding. The friction shock absorbers are replaced with Spax adjustable hydraulics but standard front Austin 7 Girling radius arms are retained. The steering box and linkages are Austin 7 style but modified to accommodate modern spherical bearings here and there. The hydraulic brakes are an off-the-shelf Austin 7 modification using Morris Minor parts but incorporate a larger 1inch master cylinder.
The engine has the usual race modifications with ported block, oversize inlet valves, Austin h/c head, Bonewell fast road cam, dynamically balanced splash-fed 1 5/16 Phoenix crank, 1 ¼ SU carb. and Ulsteroid exhaust. Carefully run-in and 3000 road miles prove that this is a viable unit for a long time ahead The engine is mated to a 4 speed 3 synchro gearbox, Hardy Spicer propshaft and strong D type axle.Cooling is a closed loop system with specially fabricated alloy radiator and Craig Davies electric pump. The refurbished Austin dynamo outputs 12 volts and has new heavy duty wiring to provide a constant 6 amps without overheating. The voltage regulator is solid state in repro Austin box by
the renowned Dynamo and Regulator Conversions. The body frame is fabricated in square tubing and helps stiffen the standard unboxed Austin 7 chassis. The attractive low slung alloy bodywork is crafted by a professional coachbuilder and attracts considerable admiration and interest. It was exhibited at Race Retro Exhibition in 2019.
