Edwardian Pear-Form Ceiling Light
A beautiful Edwardian pear-form ceiling light featuring a frosted, cut-glass shade with delicate hand-painted decoration. Originally designed for use in a bedroom or nursery, the frosted glass produces a soft, ambient glow, while the cut-glass detailing adds subtle sparkle and visual interest.
The light is suspended from its original steel fitting and remains in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks to the glass.
The Edwardian period was known for its softer, more refined approach to design. During this time, lighting transitioned from gas to the increasingly popular use of electricity, and glass shades were crafted to accommodate both power sources. This piece is a wonderful example of that transitional era, combining elegance, practicality, and historical charm. Size

Careful packaging and tracked postage ensures this beautiful shade arrives to you safely and quickly where ever you are in the UK.
