1963 Morris Minor Traveller Registered the 1st of January1963 , This is the transition model from the 948 which retained the Gold face speedo , Clap hands wipers , Duotone seating , Pull switches etc but it gained the new 1098cc motor , Gearbox and new front indicators , Few cross over models survive . Built between September 1962 and October 1964 . This outstanding example was the subject of a 500 man hour restoration completed by a Renault dealership between 2012 to 2019 , Stripped to a bare shell , This was a passion project and has been completed to the highest standard of which is documented on a memory stick and photographs of the restoration process are supplied . In 2024 the Traveller was entered into the MMOC National Rally at Gaydon Motor Museum and was awarded a trophy . Finished in Almond green with contrasting Duotone interior , Detailed underside and engine bay with no signs of rust . The woodwork is perfect and the chrome gleaming , It sits on Van wheel rims with radial tyres and has a stainless steel exhaust system . It was driven 60 miles to me and drives with out known faults .
