1961 Singer Gazelle
1961 Singer Gazelle Series 111B 1494 cc Manual , Roots Group Up Market Family Saloon and now quite a rare sight to see . Finished in its original Spruce Green over Smoke green with its original green interior piped cream , complemented by replaced dark green carpets . History supplied details a full 4 year restoration being completed in 1997 and approximately 10,000 miles has been covered since completion with MOTs in support . After 26 years the Gazzelle has weathered very well indeed and presents in excellent condition . At the point of restoration the inner and outer sills were replaced , The rear spring hanger quarters replaced , New inner and outer wings fitted along with any other corrosion being cut out and repaired . These repairs are still excellent . Mechanically the Gazelle is excellent and it drives very well with light steering , Ample power , Easy gearchange and comfortable ride . No oil smoke is evident , No overheating is noted , Gear change is lovely for a 61 year old car and the charge rate is correct . At the point of sale we will have the Singer Gazelle serviced for its new owner . Lovely British saloon with Walnut facia and door capping's and that touch of class , Benefits from an unleaded fuel conversion and Wax oil treatment , We note the mileage @ 88,000 miles . This is a charming 60,s family saloon in lovely condition and very attractive as well as being extremely drivable .
