2018 SWM Gran turismo
Unique Husqvarna badged SWM is as new with under 700 miles from new.
These bikes were assembled by the newly revamped SWM conglomerate operating in the original Husqvarna factory and using mostly Huskavarna running gear with that wonderful true Radial 4-valve OHC 440 twin port engine. These comp speck 440 engines were vastly over-engineered with massive oversized main and big end bearings and the true Radial 4 valve operated signal overhead cam, a real work of art. This level of engineering sophistication in these engines is seldom seen in a low-production engine due to its build cost but here it is and it's wonderful !
Unfortunately, EU emission rules stifle sound and performance on new bikes however this bike has had the exhaust baffling drilled out to relieve back pressure plus the ECU has been re-mapped and set up on UK 5* fuel, it runs, rides, and sounds superb. If you are an individualist and want a one-off this bike is most definitely for you
